I used to love eggs, but feel like puking at the mention of it now. Have tried eating it fried, hard boiled, mashed with mayo etc etc. Anyone has anymore recipes for me?

PS: For those who don't know what I'm talking about, Sorry! Not convenient to give you details now... maybe sometime in the future k? Just deperately need to complain :p :p :p

Shrek and Invictus

Caught both movies yesterday and they were both good! The 3D Shrek movie was fun and the storyline was not bad. Invictus is a touching true life story that we loved too :)

Something I've been wanting to do! Thanks to my dear hubby for planning this today :) Yes, this is the view from the top, where we will take the zip line all the way down to the island at the bottom.

Hee but it was made using one of those brownie ready mixes. Really easy! Only needed to add the water, oil and egg to the mix and bake! :)

Nice legs required

A few days ago, in my email to KW where I forwarded her a website selling very nice shoes from Korea:

Me: Nice shoes!
KW: Ya, cos they (the models) have nice legs!

Ok ok! Now I know why they will not be suitable for me :p

3 things that made me smile today

1) Watching baby pandas play on animal planet
2) Drinking my first bubble tea in MONTHS!
3) Mum and sis likes my freshly baked chicken pie :):):)

But, with no pay, i hesitate even to buy a $30 bag.

Ok ok, I know it's partly my fault, cos I have way too many bags.

Macaroni & Cheese

Another of my quick and easy lunches. Found it a bit saltish initially, but it was ok when i ate it together with the egg.

Cookie press

Mum has been encouraging me to try baking butter cookies as she says it's very easy.

So I was surfing the net for recipes and most of them indicated that it is easier to use a cookie press. I liked how much faster and easier it seemed. But not wanting to invest in one, I was all prepared to use the traditional single cookie cutter.

I was so excited and impressed when i realised mum had one (a bit more antique looking of course)! I thought this was a recent invention. Little did I know that this was what mum used to use more than 20 years ago!

Ok, now i really feel "sua ku"!

Tiny and cute

Since I've stopped working, have obviously been in a lot more casual wear. Have been wanting a small sporty bag to put my stuff. Fila came to my mind and just when i started searching, all the Fila shops in Singapore have closed!

Decided to get this online instead. I couldn't stop laughing when i saw how small it was when it arrived in the mail!

Just my wallet, tissue and keys and the bag is almost filled. Am still able to squeeze in my handphone and mobile, but absolutely no more space for my card case!

But I still like it... so cute!

Cooking is about "agaration"

Whenever you ask people (who cook) for recipes, they will always give you the estimated ingredients - a little ginger, some oyster sauce, add a pinch of salt...

Further proven to me when my mum and KW both asked how i marinated the chicken wings. I gave them the ingredients. And neither of them asked me how much of each ingredient to put :p

Will I reach that stage? Maybe in 10 years!
