L11 Jan 2016 - 12 years together and 11 years married.

It was a rough day. Wanted to say "It's not our day" but ironically it actually is!

Ant took the day off so we could spend time together. We went to Sentosa to do the Segway Eco adventure ride but they were not accepting riders till further notice. Wanted to do go karts but both centres in Singapore are closed on Mondays. Segway ride at Marina Bay is also closed on Mondays. Even the Bak Kut Teh we eventually thought of having is closed on Mondays (our fault as we forgot that there is no pork on Mondays). Moral of the story, don't plan things on Mondays!

Ended up just going for dinner. Still good to have been able to spend some time together, just the 2 of us.

Ant also specially ordered Lana cake for me as a surprise. Yummy!

8 years and counting

It's a "no presents" year. Partly to save money, but mainly due to the fact that we have totally ran out of ideas on what to get for each other. Decided to save up for our big 10 years ROM anniversary next January instead. So we just celebrated with a nice dinner at The Clan Restaurant.

Family Staycation

This year, instead of booking the Loyang Bungalow, we had a great time at our Staycation at Changi Village Hotel.

Day 1 - Jen Fai had a quick swim in the afternoon while Aiden was sleeping. As it started to rain, we headed to Changi Airport to walk around and have dinner.

Day 2 - Thank goodness for the good weather, we spent the morning at Pasir Ris Park. We cycled and Jen Fai roller bladed. In the late afternoon, we visited the Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay and ended the day with a ride on the Singapore Flyer

Day 3 - Breakfast in the hotel before heading home.

Checked in to our upgraded suite... and saw a cute little elephant in the toilet :)

 

Rested and did a bit of shopping at MBK.

7 years Wedding Anniversary

Yesterday was our 7 years Wedding Anniversary and we had a wonderful dinner at KU DE TA. It was a pity that the weather wasn't good and we couldn't sit outdoors. But we really enjoyed the food and realised it was the most expensive meal we have ever had.

Ended the night with a drive up to Mount Faber, something we used to do during the dating days. But it has been about 3 years since we've last been there. Nothing much has changed though we realised that the trees have grown so much that our usual view has been blocked! Hahaha :p

Thank you Hubby for the beautiful necklace and earrings, something I've been wanting! Such a surprise! But it must have burned a BIG hole in your pocket!

11 January 2012 - Happy 8 years and Happy 7th ROM Anniversary!

Ever so sweet... the delivery man turned up with a bouquet of my favourite flowers, along with a sweet little pink Care Bear.

We didn't plan any celebrations today since it's a weekday and we didn't want to bring Aiden out for dinner too late in the night. But hubby took half day as a surprise so that he could buy an Awfully Chocolate cake for me... and some terribly expensive truffles! Yummy!

Went for a simple dinner. Not just the 2 of us this year as we brought Aiden along, and our helper too. But it was nice to just be able to go out :)

A time for ourselves

Finally went on our first official date yesterday since Aiden's birth. A trip to the movies for the last part of our favorite Harry Potter series, for our annual GV gold class experience. It was nice to be able to spend the afternoon together, just the two of us :)

And added bonus was the extra early birthday prezzie from hubby! Something I've been wanting for a long while. And since there was a sale going on... I just couldn't resist! Thanks dear!!

5 years and counting!!

Happy anniversary to my dearest hubby!!

5 years ago, we celebrated our love in front of my friends and relatives. Today, we celebrate our precious baby's full month!

Thank you for being such a wonderful husband all these years. And most importantly, for being a great father too! Thank you for taking such great care of me and baby these past few weeks, for running around to settle all the logistics, for being my emotional support and mostly, for being such a hands-on daddy!! Not many dads will bathe the baby, change their diaper, pat and carry them to sleep and feed them. But you've done it all! Simply because you want to do it and I love you even more for it!

I can't wait to spend many many more years with you and our son! Happy Happy Anniversary!

Countdown

It is exactly one more month to my EDD...

Lots of mixed feelings. Seems like time the 9 months just flew by, but yet it seems like we have finally reach "the end" of this long journey. Indescribable happiness to be able to see our little precious soon, yet apprehension on the process needed to reach the stage.

Whatever it is, we just can't wait to hold him in our arms and start this new and wonderful journey as a family... Just can't wait!! :)

Graduation

After lots and lots and lots of hard work, my hubby has graduated with 1st Class Honours! So proud of him!!

Quiet birthday

Had a quiet birthday this year with hubby, just went for dinner at New York New York. And he surprised me by taking half day afternoon off to keep me company! My hubby always makes sure i have my birthday cake and card (2 cards this year!). Hee... :)

Mum's birthday lunch

Mum's birthday lunch at Tung Luk last Sunday, plus some photo taking at the 11th floor of Orchard Central. It was actually starting to drizzle quite heavily and the winds were getting strong when taking the group pic. All of us were giggling and going "Quick! Quick!" Hahaha :p

Voyage De La Vie

It was a good performance! Our favourites were definitely Viktor Kee (a world famous juggler) and Alexey Goloborodko (a contortionist)! They were amazing!

Though we must admit that it's not as good as Cirque Du Soleil, but we still enjoyed it thoroughly. It's been awhile since we last went for any performances. And it was our first time at Resorts World though we only walked around the immediate area outside the theatre.

Mount Fuji

After watching Japan Hour last night, we now know that we want to go and climb Mount Fuji! This has become one of our goals! Anyone interested? :)

Sweetness

My hubby is the sweetest.

He will always try his best to make sure i get what i want. And I'm not just referring to the big things. It's really the little things... When we drove past the pasar malam near our house on Monday night, I mentioned in passing that it's been a long time since i had those steamed peanuts. And on Tuesday night, after coming out from the shower, sitting quietly on the counter top was a bag of steamed peanuts..

My hubby is really the sweetest :)
