Cyrius' one month old party

Cookie press

Mum has been encouraging me to try baking butter cookies as she says it's very easy.

So I was surfing the net for recipes and most of them indicated that it is easier to use a cookie press. I liked how much faster and easier it seemed. But not wanting to invest in one, I was all prepared to use the traditional single cookie cutter.

I was so excited and impressed when i realised mum had one (a bit more antique looking of course)! I thought this was a recent invention. Little did I know that this was what mum used to use more than 20 years ago!

Ok, now i really feel "sua ku"!

Tiny and cute

Since I've stopped working, have obviously been in a lot more casual wear. Have been wanting a small sporty bag to put my stuff. Fila came to my mind and just when i started searching, all the Fila shops in Singapore have closed!

Decided to get this online instead. I couldn't stop laughing when i saw how small it was when it arrived in the mail!

Just my wallet, tissue and keys and the bag is almost filled. Am still able to squeeze in my handphone and mobile, but absolutely no more space for my card case!

But I still like it... so cute!

New cupboards

Didn't realise there would be so many cabinet doors until i saw this!!

Finally got the cabinets installed! Something we have been wanting to do since we moved in about 4 years ago.


And a proper cupboard for the guest bedroom :)

Cousin's wedding

Taken by the photographer and they got it printed out into a card for us. Thought it was a really nice souvenir to bring home with us. And my mum was probably busy taking photos with the aunties :p

Saw this mini Korean star look alike. Isn't he cute?? We later found out that he had mixed Chinese and Japanese blood.



And I really like this wedding favour. Cute deck of cards!!

Little improvements around the house

Our cabinets used to be lined with mahjong paper, which is something I've always wanted to replace. Now they are lined with the pretty and useful cabinet liners we bought from Daiso. Very happy with them :)
