New Year

After a quiet Christmas, it was time for a busy New Year's weekend. Had 3 gatherings over the long weekend and it was really great meeting up with ex-colleagues, ex-schoolmates and ex- travelmates (picture below). Here's wishing everyone a GREAT 2011 year ahead!!

Have not seen him for quite a while. I was so happy when he still remembered me when i saw him last week, chatting and playing with me incessantly :D

All these were prepared by August! Homemade "lor bak", chicken and chicken soup.

And on to card games! After blackjack, we definitely had to play In-between, which was always so much fun and laughter. The above combination has jinxed ALL of us that night. Very very "xie men". Cos we have to pay double if the center card is the same as any of the other 2 cards. With this combination, we hit double almost every time!!!
