Totem

First time bringing Aiden to a performance. He couldn't really sit still though and kept talking to us. But at least he was able to tell us which performance he liked when we asked him in the car later.

Eventful Saturday

Double decker bus ride in the morning, seated in the first row at the upper deck. Followed by a walk at Gardens by the Bay in the evening to view the lanterns display for the Mid Autumn Festival.

Mid Autumn Festival

Couldn't find any nice lanterns that uses light, so we had to use the Angry Bird ones that mum bought.

After warning Aiden not to swing it for fear that the flame will burn the whole lantern, he returned it to me after holding it for 5 seconds. 

Think he had more fun with the sparklers... And the playground of course.

Skinny boy

Realised that we have a lot of photos of Aiden, but not many of us with him. So snapped some of Aiden and Daddy here.

And noticed his cool get-up? Stylo-mylo. But actually it's cos he doesn't outgrow his pants at the waist, only the length keeps getting shorter!

Happy Mother's Day

 

On the Friday before Mother's Day, Aiden greeted me at the door excitedly and said he had flowers for me. He ran to his school bag but was not able to find it. He kept saying there were flowers so I told him that he may have left it in school and can give it to Mummy on Monday.

 

On Monday, again he greeted me at the door, this time with the picture above. I was so touched. Not because I received a gift from him, but because he was so proud of his work and remembered to give it to me. And he said to me,"Happy Mother's Day, I love you!"

 

I love you too my darling, and i have it at my office cubicle, reminding me of you every single moment!

Family Staycation

This year, instead of booking the Loyang Bungalow, we had a great time at our Staycation at Changi Village Hotel.

Day 1 - Jen Fai had a quick swim in the afternoon while Aiden was sleeping. As it started to rain, we headed to Changi Airport to walk around and have dinner.

Day 2 - Thank goodness for the good weather, we spent the morning at Pasir Ris Park. We cycled and Jen Fai roller bladed. In the late afternoon, we visited the Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay and ended the day with a ride on the Singapore Flyer

Day 3 - Breakfast in the hotel before heading home.

Aiden turns 2!

Time flies!! Aiden has turned 2 on 26 April! Look at how he has grown!

Had a simple party at home with family. When asked what he wanted for his birthday, he said Birthday cake. And he was able to sing along with us for his birthday song. That was so cute!

And brought him out to SEA Aquarium at RWS on the actual day. Believe he had fun looking at the HUGE fish tanks and all the fishes!

Our first family photo taken on Day 36 (31st May 2011)! With a rather sleepy Aiden.

And our first official family outing. Went for lunch and walked around at IMM. We are glad to report that it was a success as we had no problems feeding him at the restaurant :)

Graduation
