Hubby's 2nd bday dinner

Free ice cream at Swensons for his 2nd birthday dinner at Changi Airport! It sucked that I had to be in Malaysia on the his actual birthday. But at least it was a day trip only.

Since i would be back too late for a good dinner, we went to The Line at Shangri-la the night before. The dinner was good! We were SO full we had problem sleeping that night! Haha :p

My birthday - 4 Oct

Had a wonderful weekend at Hotel Intercontinental for my birthday cos they were having a one for one promotion. And a fabulous dinner at Dozo, very highly recommended! The food was delicious! 7 course dinner in a Japanese fine dining restaurant, all very yummy (I'm still salivating over the beef and my hubby is still raving about the escargot!)!

And my dear hubby always has a nice surprise for me... such a pretty Swensons ice cream cake! At the stroke of midnight! My 3rd birthday cake (the first 2 were surprises from the hotel and Dozo) for the day but definitely my favourite :D Thank you my dear dear hubby!

Our poor car

Our car got sandwiched last Friday, what a start to my birthday weekend celebration. The car behind knocked into us and the impace caused us to knock the front car. Thank goodness we are both ok.

We were harrased by a few workshop workers, all wanting us to go their workshop. The thing is, they appeared out of nowhere minutes after our accident! Was it all their doing? There have been cases of workshop staff patrolling the highways and purposely causing accidents.

And on top of all these, we have to put up with a dirty, smelly replacement car!

Really sad to hear of Patrick Swayze's passing... This is one of my all time favourites and i still love it! Rest in peace Patrick, you have fought so strongly and is now finally free of pain.

Books - Plain Truth by Jodi Picoult

As usual, I always enjoy a Jodi Picoult book. This was a very good read, a touching story, and an interesting insight into the Amish community. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Keychains

One of the very first things my hubby got for me was the keychain. He had the Janice keychain and I had the Anthony keychain. It's been years and we still carry it with us. Over the years, i think keychains have sort of became our couple "thing" and we've had quite a few. And i love this latest pair that my hubby bought... but... why is the boy looking so angry? I wonder.... hee :p

East Coast cycling

Wow, it's been a long time since we last went cycling at East Coast. Decided that we should get off our butts and do some exercise! It was tiring man! As much as it sounds like an excuse, the bikes were so hard to ride!!!

Then we adjourned for a yummy breakfast at a German bakery at Siglap. The ham was really good!! Sucha thick slab too! Ant already wants to go back for more :p
