Working hard = Spending less

I realised that it's kinda good when you get so busy with work
At least for my pocket...
Cos I realised that I haven't had much time to go out
And therefore have not spent much in the last month or so.

But then again, I felt so deprived that i went shopping on 2 consecutive days
Unfortunately, I only managed to get a pair of shoes for myself
(despite walking around so many places)
And a nice Polo T for my hubby :)

Fridge food

In answer to your question, KW, my fridge is full of "non-serious" food...

Always lots of snacks and drinks.

Btw, you are welcome to open my fridge anytime!

Just give me some advance notice to pack it...

Love is when he allows you, without hesitation, to take that last morsel of food on his plate... the one he was saving for last cos it's his favourite.

Indy marathon

Ever since we heard about a new Indiana Jones movie coming up, we've wanted to watch the first 3 again.

We did it! Watched all 3 Indy movies in 2 days!

Miso soup in 2 mins

We always have problem deciding what to eat.

Suddenly remembered we have some instant miso soup in the cupboard.

Add hot water to the individually packed ingredients.

And there! Miso Soup!

It was very good! Yummy! Just like those in the restaurants!

Look at the dark clouds, it is only 12pm in the afternoon.

And it looks like it is 7pm in the house

I am such a Pooh fan..

Sharon got me these from the 100Yen shop in Japan, so cheap right?

Reminded me that i haven't unpacked the ones i got for myself in Toyko from Daiso, also for 100Yen each!

I try to get things that are usable... like the Pooh bear dustbin in my house, Pooh bear clock, Pooh bear rug, Pooh bear calculator... whoops...

Love is...

Sometimes when you have the time to stop..... and think...... you realise there are SO many things your other half does for you that simply tells you how MUCH he loves you. More often than not, we are so busy that we forget. It can be the smallest littlest action thing he just did for you, but it shows that he is thinking only for you...

Love is when you are able to tell him your most embarassing secrets and he doesn't laugh at you.

Love is when he asks for warm water for you immediately after you sit down for dinner cos he knows you need it to soothe your cough

Breathe in...... and out!

Sometimes i get so busy and frustrated at work,
i literally have to tell myself to STOP and take a DEEP breath!

I have never liked things on my table
Whenever something comes in,
i try to solve it asap and make sure it's off my desk.

Of cos that makes me easily frustrated
when the "attacks" come from all angles.

My boss called today
I immediately sprang into the "Yes, i got your email, will get it done" mode
Actually she just wanted to ask
"You ok? Can cope or not?"
