L11 Jan 2016 - 12 years together and 11 years married.

It was a rough day. Wanted to say "It's not our day" but ironically it actually is!

Ant took the day off so we could spend time together. We went to Sentosa to do the Segway Eco adventure ride but they were not accepting riders till further notice. Wanted to do go karts but both centres in Singapore are closed on Mondays. Segway ride at Marina Bay is also closed on Mondays. Even the Bak Kut Teh we eventually thought of having is closed on Mondays (our fault as we forgot that there is no pork on Mondays). Moral of the story, don't plan things on Mondays!

Ended up just going for dinner. Still good to have been able to spend some time together, just the 2 of us.

Ant also specially ordered Lana cake for me as a surprise. Yummy!

Too early for the birds and the bees

Aiden - Mummy, we must grow up then can have babies right?

Me - Yes, must grow up and get married, then can have babies.

Aiden - Who give us the baby?

Me - Errr... God (from the temple)

Aiden - Oh, I thought it's the nurse. 

Random scribblings

I taught Aiden to write "A" for Ashlyn as he doesn't know how to spell her name yet.

6 months, 2 weeks and 1 day old

I miss school!

After 6 days away from school, Aiden cheered this morning saying," Yay, going to school today! I miss my friends!"

This coming from a boy who cried for about 2 months when he first started N1. 

To all the parents whose kids are starting childcare / school this week, hang in there!
