Eventful Saturday

Double decker bus ride in the morning, seated in the first row at the upper deck. Followed by a walk at Gardens by the Bay in the evening to view the lanterns display for the Mid Autumn Festival.

Mini Police Officer

We have a little police officer at home, reminding us that we cannot say "W*L**" or "Stupid" as it is wrong and rude. We should say "Oh my goodness" or "Oh my gosh".

Yes he has absorbed our reminders and is "throwing" it back to us. We totally deserve it!

Nano Blocks

Completed my first Nano Block figure! Ironman - 130 pieces! Took me an hour. Really not easy as the blocks are so small. But it is so cute. Am going to buy more, will post more when done!

And for you to have an idea of the size, I've placed it next to my iPhone 5 as comparison.

Mid Autumn Festival

Couldn't find any nice lanterns that uses light, so we had to use the Angry Bird ones that mum bought.

After warning Aiden not to swing it for fear that the flame will burn the whole lantern, he returned it to me after holding it for 5 seconds.

Think he had more fun with the sparklers... And the playground of course.

First 100 words

At 3 years and 4 months old, Aiden is already able to read about 70% of the words on the 100 cards we printed. So impressive right? Smart boy. And thanks to Daddy's patience in teaching him to read and make sentences with the word to help him understand.
