Working (are you)? - はたらきますか (hatarakimasuka)
Working (were you)? - はたらきましたか (hatarakimashitaka)
No not working - はたらきません (hatarakismasen)
No did not work - はたらきませんでした (hatarakimasendeshita)
And we have 4 pages of writing practice and another 4 pages of homework this week!

Hahaha, ya definitely not easy. And my bro-in-law said that there are more variations of the tenses to come!
But quite interesting lah. Just have to take it step by step :)
